Pam's Yoga Fitness Class

Fresh air and sunshine! The beautiful Town Hall meeting room has two walls of glass letting in natural light year around. Most days we open the doors to let in fresh air. The wood-beam cathedral ceiling offers a good view during reclinng poses. The outside view is of trees and sky.

Wednesdays 10:15am to 11:30am

Pam Portugal Walatka studied in person with Alan Watts, Joseph Campbell, Aldous Huxley, Abraham Maslow, Ida Rolf, Charlotte Selver, Shogaku Shunryu Suzuki-roshi, Fritz Perls, Michael Murphy, Houston Smith, Ram Dass, and others. She lived in Nepal for a year. She was the first yoga teacher at Esalen (starting in 1968, when there were about a dozen yoga teachers in America).

Eight-week class--Los Altos Hills Town Hall, CA 94022--LAH Parks and Recreation

Yoga, meditation, and Pilates. Stretch, relax, and strengthen. Learn to be in your body.

Three ways to register:

Students who enjoy this class also enjoy other types of exercise. The class is for people who like a vigorous, quiet workout followed by meditation.

We have a variety of ages in the class, but this is not gentle yoga. It's a workout. You need to be at least a little bit buff to keep up.


The class is scheduled to meet every Wednesday. 10:15 sharp. If it is Wednesday, it must be yoga. Except: no class the weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas.
