Pam's Yoga Fitness Class

Convenient location for residents of Los Altos Hills, Los Altos, south-west Palo Alto, and Stanford University: zip codes 94022, 94024, 94305, 94306, 94309.

Slow flow yoga mixed with mindfulness and Pilates. Beginners will have a fun introduction to yoga fundamentals. Experienced yogis will practice expanded consciousness, grounding, and being present.

The beautiful Town Hall meeting room has two walls of glass letting in natural light year around. Most days we open the doors to let in fresh air. Wood-beam cathedral ceiling, views of trees and sky.

Several students in the class have been enrolled for 11 years; others have been enrolled for more than five years.

Wednesdays 10:15am to 11:30am

Pam Portugal Walatka studied in person with many pioneers of the human potential movement. She began teaching yoga in 1968 at Esalen.

For those of you who have signed up many times, if Sarah R has your credit card info, you can walk by her window, get her attention, wiggle your hand in a signing gesture, and she will sign you up.

Students who enjoy this class also enjoy other types of exercise. The class is for people who like a vigorous, quiet workout followed by meditation.

Schedule

The class meets almost every Wednesday. 10:15 sharp. If it is Wednesday, it must be yoga. Except: no class the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, and 4th of July.

The beautiful Pavilion meeting room has a wood-beam cathedral ceiling, and views of trees and sky. In winter, we have a fire in the fireplace. On nice days we open the doors and windows to let in fresh air.

Hatha with ab work. Yoga, meditation, and Pilates. Stretch, relax, and strengthen. Learn to be in your body. Learn to let your body guide your yoga. Students who enjoy this class also enjoy other types of exercise.
