Alphabet
Tighten your abdomen, lower back, and pelvic muscles, pulling your belly button toward your spine. Press your lower back against the floor. This is called anchoring your core, or scooping.
Lift both legs and, moving only your feet and ankles, write the alphabet on the ceiling. Keep breathing. Then slowly lower your legs. |

Please be careful. Let your body be the boss of your yoga. A good stretch should feel good--avoid anything that causes sharp pain. When you feel comfortable in a pose, push yourself a bit until you feel challenged.
